A 2-day, intensive visit to tech accelerator hubs in 4 municipalities in Guangzhou (Nansha, Panyu, Huangpu, Tianhe) has opened our eyes and our mind completely. Firstly, we were blown away by the level of support from the Guangzhou government for Hong Kong tech startups; but more importantly, the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts in Guangzhou would make us rethink how easy it would be to land our business in Mainland China and hit the ground running. It was a great experience to have won prizes in MakerInChina2023 and be invited to make a personal visit to the enormous tech ecosystem in the GBA region. Have already made up our mind that 2024 will see Moodie.ai operating throughout Mainland China (and Vietnam too)!
