Datality Lab Supports Hong Kong’s First Civic Education Officer Competition
Datality Lab is humbled to have been the Official Analysis Platform sponsor for the inaugural Civic Education Officer Competition in Hong Kong, organized by ABC Education Foundation and co-organized by the Hong Kong Police Force. This competition, which engaged over 800 primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong, aimed to promoting civic responsibility through education and effective communication. Our AI-based communication and presentation training platform, Moodie.ai, played a pivotal role in analyzing the students’ entries, helping the judging panel select the top 100 Civic Education Ambassadors and the ultimately 3 winners in the upper primary, lower secondary and upper secondary categories.
Moodie.ai: Streamlines the shortlisting process with total objectivity
Moodie.ai was leveraged to assess various communication parameters such as tone, articulation, body language, and presentation delivery. For this competition, it provided valuable insights that helped the judges evaluate participants’ civic education presentations with greater accuracy, efficiency, and fairness. The competition saw students from across Hong Kong demonstrate their passion for pressing issues that affect the wellbeing of Hong Kong’s youth. Our AI-driven analysis helped streamline the evaluation process, ensuring a fair and objective selection of the top 100 Civic Education Ambassadors – young individuals who will go on to advocate for civic values in their peer networks.
Honored Guest and Presenter at the Award Ceremony
Datality Lab was honored to be invited as a guest and award presenter to the closing and award presentation ceremony held on 31 August 2024 in the Police Headquarters. During the ceremony, we were awarded a certificate of appreciation by Mrs. Bally Wong, Chairperson of the ABC Education Foundation, and Mr. Raymond Siu Chak-yee, Commissioner of the Hong Kong Police Force. This recognition underscores the impact our platform had on the competition’s success and strengthens our commitment to supporting similar initiatives in the future.
