The training will happen in a hybrid mode which the contents will include: in-person, face-to-face classroom trainings and practices and home-based, self-administered practices with AI learning tools.
Students will learn to construct and prepare their speech contents and will have opportunities to learn to deliver their prepared speech contents.
In the first lesson, students will undergo pre-training assessment to ascertain the current abilities to construct and present contents in English. The assessment will take the form of video recordings and will be assessed by Moodie.ai.
Generate a diverse set of potential speech topics and ideas through brainstorming and research, and evaluate their viability.
Select the most compelling and impactful speech idea to develop, and identify key points to "spotlight" in the content.
Construct the main body of the speech, organizing ideas logically and incorporating supporting evidence effectively.
Craft an engaging introduction to capture the audience's attention and a memorable conclusion that reinforces the speech's central message.
Students can practice repeatedly with specific feedback on Moodie.ai.
Identify and practice using various verbal and nonverbal signals (e.g. eye contact, gestures, vocal variety) that engage the audience and communicate the speaker's message.
Utilize powerful, vivid language to heighten the impact and persuasiveness of the speech content.
Tailor the speech to the specific audience, anticipating their needs, interests, and perspectives to maximize engagement.
Develop an appropriate vocal delivery with proper volume, pace, and inflection to convey the intended tone and mood of the speech.
Refine the overall presentation style, incorporating smooth transitions, strategic pauses, and dynamic body language to captivate
the audience.
Students will undergo post-training assessment with expanded scope of evaluation, including both their abilities to construct and deliver speech contents using all the skills that are taught during the 20 hours of classroom training.
Deliver the completed speech to the class, demonstrating mastery of the key public speaking skills developed throughout the course.
The top performing student from each school will present in front of peer students, parents, teachers and industry leaders/experts.
